Welcome To Our Student Ministry!

Being a teenager these days has its challenges, and being connected to a group of other teens striving to follow Jesus is the best way to make it through.  Students have a wide variety of ways to connect at Arran Lake. There are small groups for Middle School and High School at 9:30. On Sunday nights at 5:30, we have student worship called J.A.M. (Jesus And Me) where kids come to connect, hang out and worship together.  For more information about out student ministry, contact our Student Pastor, Phil Horne, at albcyouth@nc.rr.com.

We also have a great youth choir ministry for our 6th through 12th graders.  The group is called S.W.A.T. which stands for Student Worship Action Team.  They meet each Wednesday at 5:00 pm in the choir room.  This group performs at various times during the year and culminates their year with a summer tour.  Enrollment for this group is open from September to February.  For more information about S.W.A.T., contact our Worship Pastor, Danny McDonald, at heartofworship@nc.rr.com.

Our Awana ministry has two great groups for students.  The middle school group is called Trek.  The high school group is called Journey.  During the school year, both groups meet on Wednesdays at 6:00 pm in the Family Life Center.  This program is strong in Bible memorization and discipleship.  To learn more about the Awana program, visit the national website at www.awana.org.
